A look back

Here was Lila a year ago, on our trip to New York. We were just about to feed her her first solid food:

Boy, those first few months are still with me for the struggle and anxiety that they produced. But somewhere in the past year I have relinquished my seemingly intractable need for nine hours of sleep a night, and I've gained a very entertaining little companion.
