Here are some developmental updates on Lulu:
She now says "Aida" perfectly.
She likes to say, "Okey Dokey."
She is obsessed with crackers (little elmo-shaped crackers that come in cheddar or plain flavor) and asks for them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She asks for them ALL THE TIME.
She is also very fixated on yogurt.
Now she has a word for just about everything, even if we don't understand it or it's a hybrid of Spanish. She also surprised me this morning when we were walking to Starbucks and a car stopped in front of us; she pointed at it and said, "blue car". And it WAS a blue car!
Now when she asks you to read a story, she likes to be busy simultaneously doing something else. Like reading a DIFFERENT book to herself. Or playing with a toy, or flipping through a magazine. If you stop reading, she looks up and says, "More, please." And sucker that I am, I keep reading.
We gave her a stuffed cat that has become her new constant companion. We call him "Dr. Meow" and now she goes around always asking for him by name.
She calls her stroller, "shedeleh". We have no idea why. I like to think she's actually saying "Shibboleth", but then it creates a whole new set of questions. So "shedeleh" it is.
She now refuses to sit IN her stroller - she will only walk NEXT to it. She likes to HELP.
Josh is getting a new camera, possibly today!
