Bedtime for Baby

Sisters!

I made bread!

My mother, an excellent cook but a not so great baker, has instilled in me a lifelong fear of working with yeast. But I overcame it recently and made a fabulous French peasant bread!

The only snow day of the year?

Lila and Roan met up in the park 2 saturdays ago with their dads to do some sledding.

Little bits of news about the girls

Lila:

-Speaks with an English accent because she watches "Charlie and Lola" every night.

-Whenever she sees me cleaning something off the floor, she breaks into "It's the Hard Knock Life".

-LOVES ballet.

-Is afraid of skeletons, skunks and sharks. As in, she's afraid of being accosted by them on the street.

-Is (hopefully) getting over a weeklong battle with a viral case of hives

-Likes to list all the things that she can do that Clare can't





Clare:

-Has started reaching for things.

-Was sleeping pretty well, but lately has been waking up every 2 hours, so now I'm really tired.

-Has a different temperament than Lila did at this age; she's very content, where Lila was more restless.

-Laughed for the first time yesterday.
